focus on being a Jehovah witness???

i had an experience a couple of days ago.

me and my bf broke up he is a jw and i am not.

we were togehter for a while and it was a good relationship and out of the blue he says to me i think its better if we just break up.

Hi Jade!
I'm not a JW either, but I'm currently in a relationship with one. You can check out my story in beliefs, doc and practices. Mine is a bit more complicated. I know the love you feel for your man but listen to the other JW posts and leave while you still can. The religion always comes 1st. They have like 3-4 days/week that they do spiritual stuff. Forget holidays and voting. They go out the door. Let me leave you with one last thing that I told my JW guy- I told him-You can always get another religion, but you'll never find another me. As of today, he still has both. Keep us posted & May God bless you in whatever you decide to do.

As you know, Love is a complicated thing. It makes us do crazy things and it makes us feel weird feelings. I haven't had a chance to look at silent lambs yet but I will. I don't think he's ready to be disfellowshipped yet due to the fact that he is working on some things to advance in his career and can't afford things financially by himself yet.Then again, he could be comfortable in his situation even though he may not be happy. Plus, being d/f'd would be cutting himself off from the "friends" that he's known and hung out with. How do you feel I've been taken advantage of? Sexually? Emotionally? Let me know.

Wednesday, You are a Godsend! I value what you're saying more then any other poster. How long were you a witness and why did you leave? I know that the therapist will tell me I need to end the relationship. I know I need to end it but I feel like I'm in so deep and really care for him. We used to have bible studies and he was a great teacher. I told him I wanted to start the studies back-Not because I want to be a witness just because I want/need to get more into the bible. I've heard of witnesses leading double lives & I thought about that when I went to the hall--how many witnesses were not who they claim to be. I thank you for the advice and I enjoy anymore insight you can give on the jw to help me understand better things he might be going thru.

I'm new here, too.Making it up??? Why would anyone make something like this up? Unfortunately, this is my life right now. I would never have signed on the forum if I was making it up.. There are no foul smells on this end.

Thanks for the advice about Jerry Springer- I called and I'll be on an episode the end of July& I'll get paid $50,000 for my story! What's BOE? He's told me before they only have missionary and no oral. I've read that JW are the most sexually repressed religion. I was thinking about that during my visit to the hall- The men there looked like they could all use BJ's! LOL! I really value everyones input on the matter. Eventually it will end, it's just a matter of when.

Hubby hasn't figured out about my double like which I've been living for years. Neither has his wife. I tried to break up with him(the JW) today and he informed me how in love he is with me, blah, blah, blah and bottom line he said he won't let me leave him. I asked him if he's ever thought about coming clean to the elders/congregation. He told me yes. That was all that was said on that. He told me I was the only woman he could express himself with freely in bed. I guess I'll take it one day at a time and see what happens.

Hi Broken Hearted! I have no children and have been married for many years. It's interesting to hear everyones views on the matter. There is a strong possibility I am a sex addict and that is why I can't shake him. I will have to soon, though. Remember people: Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. It's easy to judge when we aren't in one's shoes.
